High-Speed Granulator

GSL-200 high-speed granulator is a kind of equipment which can directly granulate wasted thermoplastic thin film and products with their wall thickness less than 2mm. It can also granulate waste products or thin film made of flexible PVC; high and low pressure polyethylene, polystyrene, polypropylene and other thermal plastics, as well as foaming polystyrene.
After putting the waste materials into the machine pot, they will be cut into pieces through high-speed rotating blade and stationary blade, and then the cut materials or pieces will flow along the inner wall of the pot under the action of centrifugal force of rotating cutter head, meanwhile, they will also rotate up and down due to descend function, and move from the periphery to the center. Since the friction of the materials in high speed and pot wall and blade produce large amount of heat, the temperature of the materials increases rapidly to semi-plasticizing state and adhere to each other to form patches. Before they become patches, spray the prepared certain amount of water on the materials, and then the cold water will vaporize quickly to take away the heat on the surface of the materials, this way the temperature will drop rapidly to avoid patches. Then the materials are crushed into particles (irregular sizes) by rotating blade and stationary blade. In the process of cutting, pigments can be put into the materials to color according to needs.
Particles made by the machine can be directly used by extruder and injection moulding machine. For products with stricter requirements, the particles can be used after being processed by the granulator.
